The Harmony Fund is helping sponsor the feeding of 1,305 cats and dogs at the Shelter Kiev SOS in Ukraine - an extraordinary refuge with an incredible back-story. In the early 90s, the shelter's founder Tamara Tarnawska gathered fellow journalists and, with the use of hidden cameras, they revealed a long-time practice rounding up stray dogs and cats to be killed for their fur at a local factory.
